Beedi or IOMC or LSDM Workers Scholarship 2025

The Beedi/IOMC/LSDM Workers Scholarship 2025 is a scholarship scheme that provides financial assistance under Ministry of labour and employment by government of India. This scheme provide financial assistance to children who work in Beedi, Iron Ore, Manganese Ore, Chrome Ore and Limestone & Dolomite Mines. Candidate willing for higher studies can apply for this scholarship scheme. The scholarship is implemented through the National Scholarship Portal – NSP at scholarships.gov.in Eligible students studying in recognized post-matric institutions can apply online on NSP website and eligible candidates will get fun directly into bank account.

The scholarship is for students who are children or dependents of registered workers employed in Beedi, Cine, IOMC, or LSDM sectors. The eligibility criteria in details are as follows:

🖋️ Step-by-Step Application Process

Students can apply online through the National Scholarship Portal by following the steps below:

  1. Visit official website of NSP at scholarships.gov.in then complete your registration.
  2. Verify your identity through Aadhaar OTP or face authentication via the NSP mobile app.
  3. After successful registration candidates need to log in to the portal using your credentials.
  4. Go to Application then click on Apply for Scholarship then on Academic Year 2025–26 and Ministry of Labour & Employment.
  5. Select the scheme as NSP Financial Assistance for Education to the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers – Post-Matric.
  6. Fill in personal, academic and worker details accurately.
  7. Upload all required documents including Form B, marksheets and income certificate.
  8. Provide an Aadhaar-linked bank account number for DBT payment.
  9. Review the form carefully before submission — no edits allowed afterward.
  10. Submit the form and keep the acknowledgment for future reference.
  11. Track your application under – Check Your Status on the NSP portal.
  12. The verification process includes self-declaration, institutional validation, and scrutiny by DGLW officials.
