Pragati Scholarship 2025 > Who Can Apply, Benefits & Track Application

The All India Council for Technical Education – AICTE has launched Pragati scholarship program for 5000 female students who are in Any AICTE approved institution. This scholarship provides Scholarship amount of rs 50000 per year to the candidate who are eligible and submit the application form. This Scholarship amount will coversl tuition fees, laptops, books, software and other study related things. A maximum of two girl children per family are eligible to get benefits form this scheme. The benefits are provided for a period of maximum of 4 years for first-year admitted students and a maximum of 3 years for second-year admitted students through lateral entry. This scholarship is specifically designed for female students pursuing technical courses. The scholarship amount varies depending on the course and the student’s family income.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

1. Only female students are eligible for this scheme of Pragati Scholarship 2025.
2. A maximum of two girls per family may apply for this scheme.
3. Annual family income from all sources should be less than ₹ 8 lakhs per annum for applying candidate.
4. The applicant must be admitted to an AICTE-approved institution in India for either a regular full-time diploma or degree technical programme – first year entry OR for lateral entry – 2nd year in the case of diploma or degree for the current academic year.
5. Students mustcne admitted through recognized centralised admission processes.

❌ Ineligible or Disqualifying Conditions

1. If a candidate failed or drops out in a subsequent year she will not be eligible for further scholarship.
2. If candidate is already receiving any scholarship scheme form regonised board.
3. If candidate is having two year of gap from passing last year.
4. This scholarship is only applicable to maximum of two girl children of a family.

Pragati Scholarship Benefits

Documents Required

Before applying candidate need to keep the following documents ready for applying for Pragati Scholarship 2025:

1. Candidates Aadhaar card.
2. Candidate need Bank account with passbook along with account number, IFSC and photograph.
3. Candidates Valid Income Certificate of the family issued by competent authority less than 8 lakh.
4. Candidate need Admission letter or enrolment certificate for the current academic year into an AICTE-approved technical institute with degree or diploma for first year or lateral entry.
5. Candidates Mark card of Class 10 and Class 12.
6. Tuition fee receipt of current course and institute certificate verifying admission.
7. Passport size photograph in jpg or pdf format.
8. Caste certificate for reservation categories.
9. Declaration by applicant or parent confirming accuracy of details.

Application Process for AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2025

1. Visit official website of NSP at www.scholarships.gov.in
2. Click on new registration option and then Pragati Scholarship and start registration.
3. Fill Registration Application Form details as name, mobile number, email ID and bank account information.
4. Verify your mobile number through OTP and submit to generate an Application ID and password.
5. Fill Pragati Scholarship Form with academic details as course, institute name admission year along with personal information.
6. Upload all Scanned copies of Class 10 and 12 mark card, Aadhaar card, Income certificate, Admission letter, Tuition fee receipt, Bank passbook, Passport photo and Caste certificate.
7. Click on Submit button then save the PDF of Pragati Scholarship Application form for future use.

Track AICTE Pragati scholarship Status process

1. log on to the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in go onto application track status.
2. Enter your login details and click on submit.
3. After login Check for updates such as:
   • Institute verification completed
   • State level verification completed
   • Merit list announced
   • Funds disbursed
